Get this. In France, they drink their hot chocolate or their coffee, or other hot beverages, out of bowls! I mean, if you've just finished the Coco Pops, fair enough, but that's just strange. Apart from which, with such a wide opening at the top and the thicker ceramic material, the beverage would almost certainly go cold in a fraction of the time it would take a cup of tea to go cold in a very thin china mug. So any Frenchies out there... you're silly.
