You are not alone

Just googled digital toast and found two other sites using it as a name. There's a guy in the UK who has posted some of his travel photos and another guy who has some kind of comic going on, with some bad photoshop graphics and Comic sans as his font (which is just not on). I came up with the name in the mid 90s when a friend and I had a radio show and we had the catch cry 'Eat More Toast'. We had t-shirts made and everything (though just for us... we really weren't that popular. Who would be with a show on community radio in a small town on a Monday night at 10pm after the Greek show?). Anyway, so when the whole computer thing took off (for us) in the mid 90s, whenever I was installing software, I started writing 'digital toast' in the 'company' field. Since then, and since I finished Uni in 2000, I've always thought it would be a great name for a web design company, mainly because I like the ubiquitousness of toast, the everydayness, the simpleness and everywhereness of it. So from there, you would imply the everywhereness and simplicity of the internet, and bang... there's your business name. Well catchy, non? Then there's my idea for a digital toaster...
